The CouchGuy is buying an iPad in lieu of updating his just-pre-Intel iBook laptop, for many of the same reasons that are discussed in this Minimal Mac blog post. The iPad is just more convenient than a laptop for 90% of what I do with one. I’m glad to see I’m not the only one thinking that direction.
